Holding on to anger, resentment and hurt only gives you tense muscles, a headache and a sore jaw from clenching your teeth.
Respect is a two way street. If you want to receive it you have to provide it. Respect other people’s beliefs; it might mean nothing to you, but it could mean everything to them.
Every man’s life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived that distinguish one man from another. So make sure to add life to your days instead of days to your life. Life was meant for good friends and great adventures.

Be constantly good in quality or performance and able to be trusted. Work well and behave in the way that you would expect others to behave.
Never assume you understand. Make sure to ask the questions. People around you are constantly under the pull of their emotions. They can change their ideas by the day or even by the hour depending of their moods. You must never assume that what people say or do in a particular moment is a statement or their permanent desire.
When you don’t keep your word, you lose credibility. Keeping your word is one of the smallest yet most impactful things you can do to build trust.
You can’t expect to grow stronger or achieve great things when you avoid hard work. I have never met someone who said: “I’m so thankful I took all those shortcuts in my life.” Strong people are not built through shortcuts or copycats.
In every decisive moment, the best thing you can do is the right. This will free you from any possible guilt. This is the magic key to living your life with integrity.

Time management behaviors are very much a matter of choice. You choose to be efficient or you choose to be disorganized. You choose to focus and concentrate on your highest-value tasks, or you choose to spend your time on activities that contribute little value to your life. And you are always free to choose. When the negative thoughts come – and they will; they come to all of us – it’s not enough to just not dwell on it… You’ve got to replace it with a positive thought. It takes but one positive thought when given a chance to survive and thrive to overpower an entire army of negative thoughts.
Giving is the highest expression of potency…Giving is more joyous than receiving, not because it is a deprivation, but because in the act of giving lies the expression of my aliveness. We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.
One of the things I realized is that if you do not take control over your time and your life, other people will gobble it up. If you don’t prioritize yourself, you constantly start falling lower and lower on your list. The best we can do is prioritize our needs and make choices accordingly.

Self-care is how you take your power back.” An empty lantern provides no light. Self-care is the fuel that allows your light to shine brightly.” Nourishing yourself in a way that helps you blossom in the direction you want to go is attainable, and you are worth the effort.”
You will never know how much you can accomplish until you try. Never stop trying. Your miracle will come in undefined moments.” Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and attend to with diligence. Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.
If you don’t try, you forfeit the opportunity.” You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great. Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway. Yesterday I was clever, so I changed the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.
Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for your life to begin and start making the most of the moment you are in.” The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness. Your life requires your mindful presence in order to live it. Be here now.” If you were conscious, that is to say totally present in the Now, all negativity would dissolve almost instantly. It could not survive in your presence. The present moment is filled with joy and happiness. If you are attentive, you will see it.
If you’re bored with life – you don’t get up every morning with a burning desire to do things – you don’t have enough goals. If you don’t know where you are going, you will probably end up somewhere else. Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal.
The best way to capture moments is to pay attention. This is how we cultivate mindfulness. – Mindfulness means being awake. It means knowing what you are doing. Live the actual moment. Only this actual moment is life.” When we get too caught up in the busyness of the world, we lose connection with one another – and ourselves. Mindfulness isn’t difficult, we just need to remember to do it.”
The journey is never ending. There’s always gonna be growth, improvement, adversity; you just gotta take it all in and do what’s right, continue to grow, continue to live in the moment.
